South-western Asturias is a lush natural paradise. Fuentes del Narcea, Degaña e Ibias Nature Park, a UNESCO-listed Biosphere Reserve, has areas as emblematic and exclusive as Muniellos Reserve - the largest oak forest in Europe. Located in the southwest of Asturias, this corner of the Cantabrian Mountains covers the rugged slopes with incredible forests, where rivers run through offering freshness to the woody warm scents. An extensive network of rivers also run through the deep, winding valleys of Cangas del Narcea, Degaña and Ibias.
